Bingo of Bridgeville Acres was my girlfriend's and my contribution to the 28th gm(48) game jam - a game jam centered around the GameMaker development software.
Poop. Dementia. Death. What’s not to love? In this game you play as the assistance dog Bingo and help the residents of Bridgeville Acres. The game is set up as a turn-based digital board game experience, where you need to balance the needs of the residents in order to be the goodest boy.
The theme of the jam was "companion". We wanted to use the theme in a not too obvious way, but in a way most people would still get. We also wanted to make something outside our comfort zone (and especially something else than a platformer). We are quite happy with the results - with all its flaws.
