Fall Harvest Season (2016)

Nuclear fallout has struck the world leaving the Grim Reaper with the grandest harvest of all time.

Fall Harvest Season was my contribution to the very first GameMaker Community game jam on the then new forums - a game jam and forum centered around the GameMaker: Studio development software.

The theme of the game jam was "Everybody is dead" so I set my game in a post-apocalyptic setting where you - playing as the Grim Reaper - has to reap the lingering souls of the dead people following a nuclear fallout.

Everything in the game was made by me, and while the gameplay is pretty basic, it lead to some fun challenges both in terms of graphics and programming. I especially enjoyed the high-contrast effect I developed for the game, as it suited the character and the world very well.
